While poking around this morning I found this wonderful little article written by Joe Yohan for the The Washington Post. It highlights Judith Jones, the legendary cookbook editor (and, most famously, discoverer of Julia Child), who lives alone and therefore on many nights cooks and eats alone. Now this doesn’t sound too unique. Lots of us live alone. What really caught my eye was the statement “nothing burns her up more than the insensitive-to-single-people attitude of too many grocery stores.” Now we’re talking girl.
