    Haven’t tried Honeycrisp. Don’t think they have it in the west. Info I found says grown in the coldest growing areas. Will have to check to see if they grow it up in the Placerville area. Thanks for the tip.

  2. Great article! I often found myself wondering why it was so difficult to find different variety labels at the store, but it seems many shoppers don’t really understand that an apple isn’t just an apple. I guess they just haven’t tried a Honeycrisp yet.
